In an interview with journalist Azucena Uresti, Eugenio Derbez He commented that “ I am recording a movie based on a true event about something that happened in Mexico and that is what I am working on right now, I am filming.”

For now, it is not known where he is recording it but the actor assured that he was not in his homeland.

This in response to whether I was going to participate in the meeting between the so-called “famous” who want section five of the Mayan Train to be stopped and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) at the Palace National of Mexico.

“I am not going to be in Mexico because I am filming, I cannot go, it is physically impossible for me”, assured the comedian. He added that he knows that “the others are going to go. We are a very large group”, referring to the celebrities that make up the initiative “Save me from the train”.

Previously, the actor from CODA asked that the meeting be with experts and commented that it is not a political issue, nor that they are being paid for this initiative. He assured that “it is not convenient” for him to join the meeting by video call because “The last time I gave an interview, they banned me from Televisa and I received many death threats.”

Currently, it is not known which one is the fact on which the film is based, we think that it could surely become Eugenio Derbez’s next success, after the good start of his 1200 with “CODA”.
