The rumors of a possible departure of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich to join FC Barcelona are becoming more and more powerful and in view of this situation, the Bavarian club itself has put a price on the striker Pole who did not accept the two-year renewal offer made by the Germans.

And according to Kicker magazine, Bayern Munich will not let their top scorer go for less than 40 million euros (54 million dollars), so if you really want signing the Pole, FC Barcelona will have to pay a significant sum of money.

The Bavarians have become firm in relation to the signing of Lewandowski, since they will not have no flexibility to let him out, and even if possible, convince the Bundesliga’s top scorer to renew. Something that at the moment seems complicated since Bayern do not want to give in to their offer of 2 more years of contract and Robert asks for 3.

Similarly, the Bavarian club did not agree to Lewandowski’s request for a salary increase. For his part at FC Barcelona they are willing to offer him a 3-year contract and he would become the highest paid player in the squad.

Bayern, which has a tradition of not renewing players with 30 years or older, has 3 footballers on his payroll with these characteristics: Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller.

Despite the situation, the leadership of Bayern Munich, according to reports in the German newspaper TZ, mistrust the ability from Barcelona to be able to sign Lewandowski due to their limited financial capabilities.

In this sense, the Bayern board considers that it is a strategy of the Polish agent , Pini Zahavi, to put pressure on the negotiation and get the club to fulfill Lewandowski’s claims.
