Raúl de Molina reveals that he tested positive for COVID in Madrid

After several weeks of absence where he was supposedly on vacation in Madrid, Raúl de Molina reveals that he really should have stayed longer because he tested positive for COVID.
“I missed you all… I was on vacation in Madrid, I was gone for two weeks and at the moment it gave me what has not happened to me in two years, it gave me COVID
… Of all the places that Covid could give me in Madrid, it was one of the best cities”, began by explaining Raúl de Molina, who was received by his partner, Lili Estefan with a party.
This Monday at the beginning of ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’, De Molina explained why his absence was extended more than necessary and how he faced what he was so afraid of: COVID.
“One of the days I was wearing my mask, I went where they were launching a book, I was missing the air, it seemed strange to me, I take off my mask and I feel good… When I arrive at night in the apartment where I was staying, I take a test and it gives me a positive“, he continued explaining.
However, he said that his wife Mili realized that the test had expired since January and De Molina he called a friend to help him provide evidence. He had two and they gave him negatives.
“We drank wine, the next day my blood pressure went up quite a bit, I called Dr. Juan, I did another test and it was negative. The next day I go out for lunch, we have 3 bottles of wine with some friends… I walk away and I start to feel a little short of breath, I take another test and it is negative“, that is to say that, until now, except for the one that had expired, all of them kept telling him that he did not have COVID
However, the truth came the day the official test was done to be able to return to the United States as the end of a vacation that until then had only era of ‘false alarms’.
“ When I take the test I felt wonderful, it came to me and it gave me a positive “, he explained to Lili and the viewers. It was at that moment, when for him, who even before he knew it felt fine, the nightmare began.
“ I thought I was going to die, I got nervous, my wife was perfectly fine… On Thursday, when I got a negative result, I took some pills that supposedly take away COVID, the good thing about Madrid is that it couldn’t come back to me, but if you have COVID, and you have no symptoms you can go out with a mask. On Wednesday I take the test and it comes out negative, my wife wakes up with a fever but it comes out negative and we were able to return “, Fats continued, detailing his entire adventure with the virus.
As we have seen over these more than two years, since the pandemic began, De Molina was obsessive and fearful that it would hit him . Many times he fought with Lili on the air about the issue and the caution of the former paparazzi.
“ I thought I was going to die or something, I called the doctor in the United States, who told me to measure my oxygen, my fever and I was fine, so he told me not to go to any hospital“, he said.
De Molina also had a message for those who wondered why he had such a long vacation or so often, in particular, the answer seemed to be for his companions in the company. “ Many people who have worried about me, there are people at Univision who have more vacations than me, but they don’t realize it, I was only 5 days longer than planned“.
Continuing with the topic, despite the bullying that his classmates were doing to him, including Lili, for talking so much about his COVID, Raúl continued explaining the reason why he he thinks he did fall this time:
“ I think he hit me for a reason, For the last two years I have been taking a series of medicines, vitamins, and I was having such a good time in Spain, that I did not take it for 6 days and it gave me COVID… In the end, I came out of all this well“.
Raúl took the opportunity to thank his colleagues and especially the executive producer of the show, Mariela Cardona, who said that she was supporting him all the time.
