Firm Group swept Coachella 2022 last 15 of April and although his participation was one of the most applauded of the weekend, some fans of the Mexican regional group expressed their anger through social networks because they did not transmit the presentation in real time, which caused the music festival to be marked as racist.
Eduin Caz, Jhonny Caz, Joaquín Ruíz, AB Luna, Dylan and Christian made history by performing on the main stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival during its first weekend, sharing the stage with other international stars such as Anitta, MIKA, Dniel Caesar, Ari Lennox and Harry Styles.
However go, some fans turned to social networks to express their anger because both the Mexican group’s show and that of the Brazilian singer Anitta were not broadcast live, pointing to the event as racist.
This year, Coachella used the YouTube platform to broadcast the festival live through three official channels, but the show of the Mexican group scheduled for Saturday 15 of April 19: 10 a 20: 00 hours was deleted and instead there were only commercials, and then continued with the presentation of the singer Carly Rae Jepsen.

Despite the anger of their fans, the Mexican group sent a message of thanks for coming out in their defense, highlighting that what really mattered was that they lived a unique night that they will remember forever.
“Friday 15 in April. A story that we will never forget. We did what we had to do and enjoyed as we had to enjoy. Thank you all for always being with us defending us tooth and nail. Let’s hope they feel proud of us, just as we feel proud of having the most badass fans. Mexico present at Coachella”, they wrote along with a series of images.
For its part, the organization of the event reported through YouTube that Grupo Firme’s presentation will be broadcast on the second weekend of the festival, that is, between the 21 and 24 of April.
