'Seinfeld' actress Liz Sheridan dies at 93

In a statement for the Deadline medium, it was confirmed the death of Liz Sheridan this Friday 15 April 2022, In New York. The actress passed away at 93 years of age due to natural causes while sleeping, according to Amanda Hendon, Sheridan’s friend and former representative.

The actress is remembered mainly for her small roles in television series such as “ Alf”, where she participated as the grumpy neighbor Raquel Ochmonek, and “Seinfeld,” in which she played Jerry Seinfeld’s overprotective mother , Helen Seinfeld.

Sheridan was born in Rye, New York in 1929. He began his career with secondary characters in television programs such as “ Gimme a Break”, “Kojak” and “The White Shadow”. She too, she was part of the cast of “Who’s That Girl”, a movie starring Madonna.

The New York interpreter was also a dancer and had a career on Broadway, in which the musical “ Happy End”, in which he shared a cast with Meryl Streep and Christopher Lloyd.

In a book she wrote, Liz Sheridan recounted her affair with James Dean in the decade of the 50, when they were both young actors in New York.
