After making his triumphant return to the ring on April 9 and after 15 months without feeling the vibrations of a fight, the boxer Ryan García is already preparing for his next match.

In recent weeks, different names have appeared on the agenda of the ‘New Golden Boy’, some of them proposed by Óscar de la Hoya himself, who sees himself much more united with the Californian after his separation from the Canelo Team.

Gervonta Davis, current WBA lightweight world champion; as well as Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez, owner of the unified super middleweight belt, are some of the boxers mentioned, but it seems that Ryan wants a rival from the land of their fathers.

And it is that after give the possibility a lot of delay, mainly due to problems between promoters and trainers on both sides, the ‘KingRy’ would be thinking of having a fight against the Mexican Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz.

But it has not been through the press or statements to a sports television station that Ryan García notified of his interest in that lawsuit, but through his social networks, where he frequently uploads his training sessions and interacts with his thousands of followers.

“Isaac Cruz we are going to put everything (…) I say that let’s do it next, early July? Or even at the end of June? Let’s have it!”

Issac cruz let’s get it on l!! Everyone else has a fight🔥🥊 If you win tmmr against Gamboa I say we get that one on next!! EARLY JULY? Or even End of June LETS HAVE IT!! ⚔️🔥— RYAN GARCIA (@RyanGarcia) April 14, 2022

Currently the Pitbull is preparing for his fight this Saturday 16 in April against the Cuban Yuriorkis Gamboa , in a pre-main event of the main fight of the night and reason for the show: Errol Spence vs. Yordenis Ugás, for the unification of the WBA, IBF and WBC welterweight belts.

For the fight, Isaac Cruz failed to make weight by stopping her at 36.5 pounds, one and a half pounds over the division limit, but hours later he returned to find the correct mark.

Currently Cruz, boxer for 23 years old native of Mexico City, holds a record of 22 wins (15 by way of knockout), 2 losses (one against Gervonta Davis, possible rival of Ryan Garcia) and a draw.
