Hat-trick by Cristiano Ronaldo gives victory to Manchester United who dreams of the UEFA Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo dressed as a hero again with Manchester United and scored a hat trick to give the Red Devils a 3-2 victory against Norwich City. Ronaldo got 50 hattricks in his professional career and adding those of the Portugal team, the figure rises to sixty hattricks.

The Portuguese scored his second hat trick of the season, after the one against Tottenham Hotspur, to claim a win at Old Trafford that takes United out of the hole in the one who had gotten in by wasting a 2-0 lead.

Cristiano took advantage of a steal and an assist from Anthony Elanga to finish off the 1-0 at will and then he went ahead of everyone at the exit of a corner to head in the 2-0.

The match seemed ready for United, but the bottom team turned and equalized in the space of seven minutes. Kieran Dowell and Teemu Pukki turned the tables on the scoreboard and set off the alarms at Old Trafford, where a large group of fans had demonstrated before the start of the match for the disastrous management of the club.

A 15 minutes from the end, Cristiano scored his first free-kick goal in almost two years to seal the win and his number one hat trick 50 at club level. Along with the national team, the Portuguese star wears 60.

The Portuguese has accumulated 23 goals in all competitions with United and is the third top scorer in the championship with 15 goals, five behind the current Golden Shoe, Mohamed Salah.

Manchester United is in fifth position in the table with 54 points three points behind Tottenham who are in fourth place, last place to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. United have two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five games.

The calendar for Manchester is quite difficult in the coming dates. On Tuesday 19 of April he will face Liverpool and on Saturday 23 in April against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in a vital match for the Champions League fight.
