California Police Search for Two Jewelry Stealing Suspects Armed with Hammers at Brea Mall

Authorities are searching this Friday for two suspects who stole items from a jewelry store in the Brea area in an express robbery in California.

The men entered the Kay Jewelers store in Brea Mall, located in 1010 Brea Mall Road, before 7: 00 at night and They used hammers to break the display cases and steal the jewelry that was there, including gold chains, reported the Brea Police Department.

The thieves fled the site after the robbery. Witnesses said they were seen running out of the mall in a black Lexus car.

Police received calls for shots fired, but authorities determined it was the sound of hammers being fired. hitting the glass of the showcases.

The Police Department released a photograph of the suspects at the Kay Jewelers store , in which one of the thieves can be seen holding a large hammer.

The investigators described the suspects as two African-American men ranging in age from 16 and 19 years of age , weight between 170 and 180 books and are approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall to 6 feet tall.

They wore black masks and wore black hoodies and red sweatpants.

Police asked people to avoid visiting the Brea Mall area while police investigate the jewelry store theft. The investigation is still ongoing.
