Taxi passenger kills the thief who tried to take his belongings in Mexico

Two men who were traveling on a motorcycle in the Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office, approached a taxi to rob the passenger, but the man pulled out a gun and killed one of them.

The accident occurred on Anastasio G. Sarabia street corner South 99 A, neighborhood, Héroes de Churubusco, in the city of Mexico, at the place where the authorities arrived and they found the lifeless body of a man who had been shot in the chest.

The identity of the murdered man was not revealed by the police, he was only identified as the person who intended to rob the passenger and driver of the taxi.

The taxi driver named Nicolás Suárez narrated the facts that were recorded in the investigation folder. He described that they were traveling on the avenue when a motorcycle with two individuals armed with pistols approached his vehicle to demand that they pull over, since they were going to be stripped of their belongings.

Nicolás Suárez reported that The passenger took out a .40 millimeter pistol and he shot in the chest one of the assailants who fell on the asphalt, and then got out of the car and walked away from the area. The taxi driver could not give more information about the passenger.

Before taking the body to the office of the Public Ministry to carry out the corresponding investigations, one of The officers confirmed that the death of the individual was due to the impact of a bullet in the chest. The other assailant fled on the motorcycle.

The agent explained to the newspaper La Prensa that the dead man is a man of average complexion, between 30 and 40 years old, who had a tattoo on the right arm with the legend “Alejandra”. The local authorities will continue with the investigations to find the person presumed responsible for the murder.
