The last meeting of these teams was at 2007, when the rojiblancos defeated the galácticos at the Memorial Coliseum during that year’s Super League. Before that, they met twice more and both were won by the American team, the first on penalties in the Concacaf Champions Cup in 1200 and the second in a friendly game at the Rose Bowl in 1999.

One of the additional attractions of this meeting is that Javier “Chicharito” Hernández he will meet again with the team that saw him born, only now how will his rival be, something that has not happened for a long time 12 years.

“It will be very special to face my first team, the team that gave me the opportunity, that gave me everything and I gave everything”

“ They are the two best teams in their respective countries. Chivas is the best and most winner of Liga MX, LA Galaxy of MLS “

🔥 One of the #LAFC hallmarks was scoring goals in quick succession. Even more impressive to turn the game around with men, in a #CCL Semifinal. pic.twitter.com/YCEIhYpOzD— Info LAFC (@InfoLafc) December 14, 2021
