College student found dead for showing off a gun; he accidentally shot himself

HOUSTON – A Houston-area college student met death by showing off.

The tragic incident was witnessed by some students from Texas Southern University, according to the Houston Police.

It all happened when one of the inhabitants of a university apartment complex accidentally shot himself while showing off a gun to a group of friends.

According to the Police, the incident occurred in an apartment complex located in the 3600 Rosewood around 11 pm on Thursday.

According to the initial inquiries, the victim took out the weapon and was showing it to his friends when he was shot. The wound caused caused his death, although he was taken to an area hospital.

At the time of the incident there were two other people with the victim, who despite giving him first aid were unable to save him.

The Police said that just when the victim’s friends were going to take the victim to the hospital, the Fire Department ambulance arrived at the scene and was in charge of the transfer.
