This Saturday it became official that Manu Ginóbili will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. The Argentine basketball legend, multiple times champion with the San Antonio Spurs and Olympic champion with Argentina, will reach the Olympus of basketball j along with other legends such as Tim Hardaway, George Karl, Swin Cash and Lindsay Whalen.
The award ceremony will be next 10 September in Springfield, Massachusetts, and will have the mystique of a Latino player entering the Hall of Fame.
Considered by many to be the best Argentine player in history, both in the NBA as well as internationally, he is the only player along with Bill Bradley who has won the Basketball Euroleague and also the NBA title.
He was a fundamental piece in the Spurs dynasty with which he won four titles along with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. The Argentine won a gold medal in Athens 2004, 4 NBA titles, a Euroleague, twice selected for the All-Star Game and Award for Sixth Man in the season 2007-2008.
