Apartment complex fire leaves a child dead and 13 people evacuated in Colorado

Once again, Colorado is witness to a terrible fire in an apartment complex identified as Waterview Apartments, where this time, a five-year-old boy lost his life .

The Adams County Fire Department (ACF) responded to the emergency call reported this morning in Welby in Adams County, upon arrival, the teams saw the flames come out of the third floor balcony.

All residents evacuated quickly, while the firefighters continued to control the fire.

According to official statements, the minor who died was transferred to the Arapahoe County coroner’s office, where the exact cause of death will be determined of the child, also, the investigation will be kept open to determine the origin of the fire.

Meanwhile, the evacuees were assisted by paramedics. Several apartments had significant damage, but many were unoccupied.
