Chipotle announced this morning that it will relaunch Guac Mode, an exclusive benefit for Chipotle Rewards members that unlocks access to free guacamole surprises throughout the year, in order to celebrate the third anniversary of the Chipotle Rewards loyalty program.
The company indicated in a statement that from today until 31 March, new and existing Chipotle Rewards members who are not verified in Guac Mode can join by visiting the official site.
When Chipotle activates Guac Mode, Chipotle Rewards members will see an additional reward in the My Rewards section of their account. For complete information on Chipotle Rewards, fans should visit the site.
The brand added that it is partnering with Cash App to launch the $GuacMode Giveaway with $80,000 Cash dollars on Twitter. From today until 31 in March.
A series of tweets will be issued encouraging fans to sign up for Guac Mode, follow @ChipotleTweets and @CashApp, and leave your $cashtag along with #ChipotleGuacMode as a reply to the tweet for a chance to earn extra cash.
Fans can create a free Cash App account by downloading Cash App on their mobile device via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
“Since Guac Mode launched two years ago, we’ve delivered over seven million free guacamole orders to registered fans. the program,” said Chris Brandt , director of marketing.
“With surprise rewards of guacamole and extra money at stake, Guac Mode is an opportunity a must for all Chipotle fans”, added the executive.
In addition to the Guac mode, the more than 22 million members Chipotle Rewards can earn 10 points for every $1 spent at the restaurant, online or in the app.
Through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange, members can choose to exchange Rewards points for more than fifteen different reward options, including Free guacamole, double protein, drinks and Chipotle Goods.
