Nevada authorities arrested Troy Driver, of 41 years, who is linked to the disappearance of Naomi Irion, of 22 years, in the parking lot of a Walmart.
Driver is arrested on kidnapping charges after he allegedly approached the girl’s vehicle in the parking lot of Fernley Walmart around 5:00:00 in the afternoon of the day 12 in March, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Surveillance cameras show Driver watching suspiciously close to 1992’s Mercury Sable car from Irion before getting in and driving away. Police found the woman’s vehicle abandoned in an industrial park near Walmart on 15 of March.
Likewise, the authorities reported that Driver’s truck was seized and taken as evidence .
So far it is unknown where Irion could be found since the suspect’s arrest. Phone records revealed that she was active on social media and received a Snapchat minutes before she disappeared.
Mother of the young woman told WAGM 8 that she was waiting for a service to go to work, which usually arrives between 5: 30 and 5: 41 in the morning.
“This is still a very active investigation,” the county sheriff said. of Lyon, Frank Hunewill, on 25 March. “More information will be released as it becomes available. Naomi has not yet been located and we continue to search for her and information.”
