The competition for talent in technology companies has caused Apple to have some fear that its collaborators could be captured by the Metaverse, the cryptocurrency sector and other competitors, The Sreet highlighted in a report.

The creatives of the company founded by Steve Jobs have as their main characteristic the development and positioning of different products and services, which have been designed to suit the public and connect with their market.

This situation makes Apple’s collaborators coveted by other technology companies, which seek to have a first-rate team of developers and creatives.

The Sreet highlighted that the prevailing reality in the technology sector is the competition to create better products. This has intensified in recent years, due to the emergence of the cryptocurrency sector, the birth of the Metaverse and the creation of web3.

The report highlights that Apple no longer competes with traditional firms such as Samsung, Tesla or Google, now they must also face startups, which have enough capital to offer good monetary offers to talents.

According to The Sreet report, these bonuses would range between $80, and $200,000 dollars, which will be delivered in the form of restricted shares, which may be given once the have served at least four years, and if the employees agree to stay at Apple.

The technology giant began the process of granting this type of bonuses since December of last year, with amounts from 11 thousand to 180 thousand employees from various areas in the company. This process is considered atypical, since Apple’s employment benefits do not include this amount in bonuses.
