The much-loved actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson could make his triumphant return to wrestling next weekend of April 2 and 3 at one of the most important events in sports entertainment, Wrestlemania .
The respected American journalist Dave Meltzer, editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter , affirmed that Johnson is one of the surprises that Vince McMahon, CEO of WWE, is preparing for the great event that will be held again in two nights, this time in Austin, Texas.
That could be an important night of comebacks. It is already confirmed that Stone Cold Steve Austin will come out of retirement to fight Kevin Owens, precisely in his favorite state, Texas. The return to the company of Cody Rhodes is also pending, after ‘The American Nightmare’ left for the independent circuit more than five years ago.
The rumor planted by Meltzer indicates that The Rock will appear on Sunday after the main fight that will face Brock ‘The Beast’ Lesnar against the Samoan Roman Reings, in a fight of champion against champion; as additional data -and no less important- the latter is Johnson’s prime .
