Los Angeles Department of Transportation to Ticket Vehicles Parked or Stopped in Assigned Bus Lanes

Starting this Monday, motorists will no longer be able to park or remain stopped in the lanes assigned for the circulation of public buses because they may be sanctioned by the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT).

The transport authority in the city began to apply a law that will allow fines to be imposed on drivers who commit this infraction.

LADOT will deliver during this week and until Friday written warnings to drivers who are caught parked in the lanes assigned to the circulation of public transport.

The restriction also applies to delivery service vehicles that load or unload merchandise having their vehicles stopped in the bus lane
