The Peruvian presenter Laura Bozzo, of 69 years old, revealed in an interview with ‘Gossip no Like’ various details of the conflict she had with the Mexican tax authorities, which led her to run away and take refuge in a humble neighborhood on the outskirts of Mexico City, because she was afraid of being arrested.
According to what is known as the ‘Lawyer of the poor’, in At no time did he hide, as was said, in the luxurious penthouse he owns on the beaches of Acapulco, nor in the house of the influencer Lizbeth Rodríguez, but she did it where she knew no one would find her.
“I can swear to you on my daughters, I was never here (Acapulco). I was in a very poor place, very humble, in very popular areas of the State of Mexico. I was there”, shared Miss Laura.
Although she provided some details about her hiding place, the also lawyer refused. to give more information about his location, so the conditions in which he was living are unknown, as well as the identity of his protectors.
“I am not going to tell you the place, nor nothing. I hid in a very poor place, you can’t imagine, but those people are the ones who protected me”, Laura Bozzo was honest about the place where she was hidden for three long months.
With these revelations, Laura Bozzo threw overboard all the rumors that existed about her and her location, even going so far as to say that she was seen eating, as if nothing had happened, in a restaurant in Acapulco.
It transpired, at the time, that Bozzo was wanted by the Mexican treasury, but not by Interpol, for an alleged tax fraud , although she argues that it was all due to a misunderstanding with her accountant and that it was never an evasion.
“It is a problem of an audit of the year 2012. In the year 2012 they audited me and, obviously, I had paid my taxes with my name, because I don’t use companies to evade taxes, or anything. I gave the power to an accounting firm that was recommended to me and they never noticed. As they paid me in the United States, my salary from Televisa went to the United States, from the United States I brought it here again and here I sent it there again, ”Bozzo declared from the comfort of his room and confident of his innocence. .
