A brave elderly Ukrainian couple faced a group of armed Russian soldiers
who broke into his property.
The security cameras show the couple walking towards Vladimir Putin’s troops in the front yard of their house and start protesting with them before kicking them out.
In the footage, the Russians in full combat gear can be seen arriving at the couple’s closed door and making their way with their weapons in the firing position.
When they heard the soldiers, the elderly couple came out of their house and demanded to know what was going.
The man starts yelling at them and his wife supports him by gesturing at the soldiers to get them out.
At one point, the pair seem to push the soldiers away in embarrassment. ados sneaking out the door.
Among those who shared the video was the US embassy in Ukraine, which tweeted the hashtag # UkrainianHeroes: “Today we salute this elderly couple, who faced three Russian soldiers.”
Since their country was invaded more than two weeks, there have been countless examples of Ukrainians bravely defying the Russians.
Hundreds have taken to the streets today to demand the release of a mayor kidnapped by Russian occupation troops.
Ivan Fedorov was filmed being dragged by Russian forces, with a bag on his head in the city from Melitopol, in the south of Ukraine.
Ukraine’s parliament says Fedorov “refused to cooperate with the enemy” and was kidnapped from the southern city’s crisis center, where he was dealing with supply problems.

Some of those who defied the occupants of Vladimir Putin carried banners demanding the release of the mayor.
The defiant Ukrainians include female soldiers, who are among the front-line troops fighting Russian forces in the war-torn east of the country.

Others have put their lives on hold to make camouflage nets and help care for the 2.3 million refugees expelled from their homes.
Shortly after Putin ordered his troops in, hundreds of brave Ukrainians forced Russian tanks to stop block I walk a road on foot.
The images are believed to have been filmed in Koryukiva, a few kilometers from Ukraine’s border with Russia, show hordes of locals standing in front of a tank convoy.
