Strength and union! The Gallos Blancos de Querétaro took a stand regarding the tragic violent events in La Corregidora

Through a statement published on their social networks, finally the Gallos Blancos expressed their position as a club regarding the tragic acts of violence last Saturday, March 5 at the La Corregidora Stadium in Querétaro.

Considered the most violent day in the history of Mexican soccer, Querétaro was expected to express a position on the matter, especially after the sanctions applied by Liga MX to the club, stadium, fans and directive.

In the letter they send a message of union for his hobby which he claims as non-violent and the violence in La Corregidora was caused by a dissociated minority.

“We feel sad and dismayed by the difficult situation we experienced last Saturday (…) Querétaro’s fans are not what is said about them today in different latitudes. The vandalism we suffered has nothing to do with the football festival”

In the information issued in the statement , which is also signed by the players and coaching staff, the punishments issued from Liga MX are assumed , which include the change of directors: “Following the measures approved by the Liga MX Club Assembly and in this transition period, the administration of Club Gallos will pass into the hands of a new board (…) professionals with proven experience will be integrated ”.

The Gallos Blancos de Querétaro visited the Victoria Stadium in Aguascalientes to face Necaxa for the matchday 10 . The duel, which the locals won by the minimum (1-0), was played behind closed doors due to the sanction against the club.

The game that will receive the most attention on the date will be National Classic between the Águilas del América and the Chivas de Guadalajara.
