Boxing places a new tragedy on its list. Sadness took over the sport upon learning of the death of Hero Tito, a fighter of Indonesian origin from 35 year old. The young boxer was sent to the canvas by James Mokoginta and was unable to recover.
The fight dates back to 27 February this year. Tito and Mokoginta were fighting for the lightweight title in Indonesia. The match was also part of a rematch, as both fighters had met in 2015, event in which Hero Tito would be the winner. However, he would not have the same fate.
The fighter of 35 years old was hit by a forceful upper cut from James Mokoginta, in the seventh round. Tito fell to the canvas and could not get up. The fighter had to be helped and taken out on a stretcher, he spent several days in the hospital until his death was known.

To his 35 years old the fighter of Indonesian origin leaves a couple of daughters; one of 13 and the other 5 years old. Tito had an extensive career in professional boxing since 2004. Hero Tito even had the opportunity to be part of a card in which Manny Pacquiao participated against Brandon Ríos in 2013.
