An argument between a couple in Alabama ended in tragedy, after a woman flew into a rage and ran over to her boyfriend, causing his death. Now Johana Suárez faces murder charges.
The Office of the Mobile County Sheriff released the arrest of the woman of 37 years old, who was arrested the weekend after running over her boyfriend Henry Hernández, from 48 years, while walking down the road.
The agents said that Johana Suárez and her partner were traveling from Miami to California, but they had an argument on the way.
Consequently, Henry got out of the car and started walking along the side of the road, leaving Johana as the driver.
According to ABC7, a witness who called the 911, reported seeing the woman run over Hernandez, authorities said.
Detectives verified the version after analyzing the black box in the vehicle, which showed that Suárez was driving 73 mph when he hit Hernandez with the car. She was not injured in the accident, authorities said.
According to statements by Paul Burch of the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, they were heading west towards California and spent Saturday night in Mississippi
“They got up early on Sunday and headed in the wrong direction, which resulted in an argument that ended with Hernandez getting out of the vehicle with his belongings,” he said.
