Suspected Mexican murderer is deported for the fourth time from the United States; the violent criminal several times flouted the law

LAREDO – A alleged murderer who had already been deported several times from the United States was on the loose in the streets of Laredo, according to the authorities.

A man who was wanted in connection with a murder in Mexico was deported from the United States, confirmed the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service.

ICE, for its acronym in English, announced that Rafael Silverio Rojas Estefanía was handed over to Mexican authorities on March 3 at the Lincoln/Juárez International Bridge, on the border of Laredo, Texas .

The federal agency also highlighted that the suspect of 26 years had already been deported to Mexico on three previous occasions, one in 2017 and two in 2020.

In addition, Rojas Estefanía’s record also includes three arrests at 2021 by the Laredo Police Department for assault with battery charges body parts, ICE said.

The statement concluded by indicating that the suspect had been wanted in Mexico since 29 October 2018, when authorities in the state of Guanajuato issued an arrest warrant against him on a murder charge.
