'Santi' Muñoz could stay without debuting in Newcastle's first team

Things for the Mexican soccer player from Newcastle, Santiago Muñoz, do not seem promising in their pretensions to play in the first team, after some statements by the coach himself that he would leave without the possibility of debuting in the Premier League.

Eddie Howe, coach of the magpies, pointed out that he has not obtained pieces that can be used to use them in the first team, on the other hand, the team finds itself with a fight to not descend in the middle of the restructuring that they carry out after the change of owners in the club.

“I have seen the least of his action in the games. The reason is the Covid, we have not been able to mix the groups much“, referring to Santiago Muñoz. “Certainly, with the restrictions it seems somewhat relaxed, it is something that we can encourage more. I want to see more of Sub18 and Sub23 with us, giving them a chance to step up,” said coach Eddie Howe.

Newcastle fights not to be relegated

The Newcastle situation is not the best. Although they have been able to get out of the direct relegation positions and after the victory 2 goals for 1 against Brighton Hove Albion, they rose to the position 09.

At the moment they are seven points apart from the relegation places, being a reason for the coach Eddie Howe in having experienced players and not the young ones themselves, for knowing how to face the key moments in the final stretch of the English Premier League.
