From Colombian soccer champion to living as a homeless person: The story of Apolinar Paniagua

Innumerable soccer legends have passed through Colombian soccer. From most of the countries that make up Latin America and that have been in important clubs such as Deportivo Cali, Atlético Nacional and Millonarios.

One of the figures of Millionaires at the time of the 70, the Paraguayan Apolinar Paniagua was observed to be in serious condition and he is homeless on the streets of La Asunción, Paraguay.

On social networks started a campaign to help the ex-soccer player of 75 years old and improve his quality of life.

Apolinar Paniagua made his debut as a striker at Deportivo Pereira in 1971. In 72, he reached Millonarios where he was champion.

The 20 May 1973 scored goal 2.000 in the history of the blues in the 3-2 victory of Millonarios against Medellín.
