Billie Eilish and Finneas O’ Connell have written the three original songs for the soundtrack of the new Pixar movie “Turning Red”.
Under the score by the Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and performed by the fictional “boy band” 4 Town the singles are “ Nobody Like U”, “U Know What’s Up” and “1 True Love”.
At dawn this Tuesday, Disney advanced the single “Nobody Like U” accompanied by a video in which they present the characters that will appear in the film, as well as the lyrics composed by the American brothers, who They have gone one step further in their usual musical proposal and have given life to a song inspired by the boybands of the beginning of the 21st century.
The voices of this fictional musical group are those of Jordan Fisher as Robaire, O’Connell as Jesse, Topher Ngo as Aaron T. , Grayson Villanueva as Tae Young and Josh Levi as Aaron Z.
“Turning Red”, which will have its premiere through of the Disney + platform next 11 in March, introduces Mei Lee, a young woman from 13 years torn between remaining her mother’s obedient daughter and the chaos that adolescence entails.
