The adult content site Pornhub would have restricted users whose searches are carried out from Russia. It turns out that, when the website sees that an IP address comes from the country in conflict, it does not allow you to access the content of the website. It is believed that this would be in solidarity with Ukraine, since on the main page the site has placed a flag of the country which has been bombed in recent days under the orders of the Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Many are users from Russia who have reported that the Pornhube website gives them a message indicating that the website is disabled. The most daring have tried to access the website with a VPN and in that case, Pornhub, asks for a questionnaire asking if the user is older than 18 years. However, when entering the age, the Deactivation of the Pornhub page message appears again.
As during the pandemic crisis and quarantine, Pornhub would have placed all their content for free “Premium” members. This, to cope with the lockdown time of some. Now the adult content website has done the same for some regions of the world. Clearly, all addresses coming from Russia will not have access to the portal for now. This seems to be a sign of support for the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy in disagreement with Vladimir Putin . So far the Pornhub website has not made an official announcement.
