The iconic gesture with which 'The Simpsons' showed their support for Ukraine

Social networks were revolutionized after the official Twitter account of the cartoon The Simpsons posted an illustration to show support for Ukraine after the attack it received from Russia.

Last Friday afternoon a tweet issued by the official account of said series went viral. It was an illustration made by Matt Groening in which all the members of one of the most famous families in the world can be seen with a serious expression.

For their part, Homer and Marge can be seen holding the flags of the country that received a military attack by the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin.

The brothers could not miss Bart and Lisa holding another flag between the two

, while little Maggie carried two pennants with the classic colors of the Ukrainian flag, blue and yellow.

“#TheSimpsons #Simpsons #Ukraine”, is the description that accompanied the image that has already gone around the world and that in just a few hours of being published, managed to collect more than 40 a thousand “likes”.

The responses to this message of support for the Ukrainian people were immediate and although there were divided opinions on the matter, there were those who did not hesitate to thank them for having disapproved of the actions of the Kremlin.
