Ukraine’s State Service for Special Communications said early Saturday that clashes are taking place in an eastern suburb of the capital Kiev.
“The enemy is trying to attack the CHP-6 near Troieschyna. The Armed Forces give battle”, the Ukrainian service tweeted.
The anti-aircraft alarms sounded in the city to ask the citizens to get into the shelters.
The combined heat and power plant CHP-6 is the largest combined heat and power plant Ukraine.
Furthermore, to 37 kilometers to the southwest, resistance continues in Vasilkov, where the Russians are trying to land paratroopers, the same source.
