A new stage in boxer Ryan García’s sports career begins by announcing that he will no longer be part of the Canelo Team and will have a member of the Hall of Fame in his corner, to face his fights over the ring.
The New Golden Boy, of 23 years old, was under the guardianship of Eddy Reynoso from the 2018 and he was able to take little advantage of it due to his problems with depression that took him out of the industry for a while.
“I am excited to announce that I will now be working with Hall of Fame trainer Joe Goossen , as well as my father, Henry Garcia. Joe’s legendary career spans several decades working with championship fighters. I worked with Joe when I was a kid and the two of us have had a great relationship over the years,” he said in a statement.
In addition, he dedicated a farewell message to Reynoso for these years of working together.
“ I would like to thank Eddy Reynoso for everything. Eddy has been in my corner since 1200 and I have learned a lot from him, both in and out of the ring. We built an amazing friendship that I will always cherish. On behalf of my entire team, I wish Eddy continued success in his amazing career”, he closed.
