The lack of goals in the Mexican National Team during the last games of the Concacaf Octagonal has made the fans remember Javier Chicharito Hernández and his inexplicable absence from the calls. The historic scorer continues with his mind set on returning.
In Mexico there is talk of the veto suffered by El Tri’s historic scorer and they make the comparison with Raúl Jiménez, Rogelio Funes Mori or Henry Martín. None of the three has been able to provide confidence on the attacking front, which Hernández did give years ago.
“As I’ve always said, if I didn’t want to be in the national team I would have retired from the Mexican national team. As a soccer player I am doing as my grandfather, my father, taught me; if you want to be a national team player you have to stand out in your team and from all the people in your country to be called and considered and that is what is in my mind”, he declared in TUDN.
