A great generation of Mexican soccer players seems to be coming to an end. Oribe Peralta hung up his boots a few months ago, Marco Fabián managed to sign for Mazatlán in the last moments, but Giovani Dos Santos and Carlos “Gullit ” Peña do not have the same luck ; both players are without a team.

Giovani Dos Santos without third chances?
“Gio” arrived at the Águilas del America after the Los Angeles Galaxy decided not to renew his contract. However, his outlook with the Mexican team was very similar. Giovani Dos Santos has not played an official match for six months.
Brazil, Spain and Mexico’s Santos Laguna have been some of the possibilities that have been on the table. However, the latest and most recent rumor of the Mexican team was denied by Pedro Caixinha himself.
Carlos Peña, your salary is its own obstacle
“Gullit” Peña decided to continue reaping successes in Central America. The Mexican triumphed in El Salvador and then jumped to Guatemala. After a good season, the club decided to sell him, as they considered that he did not fit into the restructuring of the team.
