A Brazilian claimed to have celebrated his birthday 121, which would make it in the oldest living person in the world.
Andrelino Vieira da Silva, a great-great-grandfather, even states that he has fought against Covid, despite his alleged age.
Da Silva claims that he was born in 1901, the year Queen Victoria died, and insists that that you have documents to prove it.
In your document of official identification valid throughout the country, it shows that he was born on February 3, 1901 in Firminópolis, Goiania.
The elder Andelino, who lives in the western province of Aparecida de Goiania, marked the supposed milestone on Thursday, February 3 with a cake.
But according to his granddaughter Janaina Lemes de Souza, of 16 years, only Andrelino’s family attended, for that all potential guests had Covid.
The retiree celebrated with a cake decorated with his first name, his supposed age and the phrase ‘O terror do INSS’ (‘The terror of the INSS’).
The peculiar cake is a reference to the National Institute of Social Security that deals with pension payments and death benefits.
Andrelino is believed to have been married and had seven children, five of whom are still living.
Da Silva also claims to have 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The granddaughter Janaina, who lives in one of the three houses with her husband on the same land as her grandfather, affirmed that “he travels” and even “goes to bars”.

She told the G1 news portal that Don Andrelino “is lucid, active, cooks his food , take care of her little things… She leads a normal life.
“He loves forro (a style of music and dance from the northeast of Brazil) and always dances”.
He also stated that despite contracting Covid, Andrelino “is very well” and “only has mild symptoms”.
The oldest certified living person is Japanese Kane Tanaka, who was born on January 2, 1901.
It is unclear whether Andrelino and his family are seeking to have their age officially verified.
