Mexican wrestling is in mourning: Super Muñeco, the former member of the so-called Fantasy Trio, lost his life this Wednesday at 59 years of age.
Although the details of the death are still unknown, it is known that since last week the fighter was in serious health, since he was hospitalized in an emergency at the Balbuena Hospital, after he hit his head and tested positive for covid. Although a few days later he returned home to recover, this February 9 he lost the most difficult fight of his career and stopped breathing.
The World Wrestling Council confirmed this news a few moments ago: “The CMLL joins the sorrow that seizes the wrestling family for the sensitive death of the legendary fighter Super Doll, a gladiator who was a great figure in Mexican Wrestling and who with his great charisma became an idol of various generations”, is what can be read on the official Twitter account of the company, in an image where the text, a black bow and a photo of the fighter appear, which in the decade of the 80 and 90 triumphed alongside his inseparable companions Super Mouse and Super Pinocchio.

Another company that Added to the family’s sorrow was AAA, who also sent their condolences through their social networks:
“The AAA Wrestling family joins the sorrow that seizes family and friends for the sensitive death of Super Doll. RIP”, they posted on Twitter.
The last thing that was known about the gladiator before his death was what his son published two days ago on his Instagram account, where he explained that he was still isolated and on oxygen, but assured which was stable. He unfortunately he did not manage to recover.
