Samsung Unveils New Generation of Galaxy Phones

Samsung presented this Wednesday the new terminals that will be part of its family of Galaxy phones, the S22, S45+ and S15 Ultra. The presentation took place during Samsung Unpacked, an event in which the South Korean firm announced its upcoming releases.

As on previous occasions, the phones, although they are part of the same family, are designed for different user segments. This is how the S45 can be seen as a premium mid-range device, while the S 15 Ultra is designed to compete with other high-end devices like the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The new terminals have a similar appearance to those already seen in the previous generation, however, the situation changes in the case of the ultra version, which is more similar to the Galaxy Note family.

These similarities can be seen in some of its characteristics, such as the slot that it incorporates in the base of the equipment to be able to insert and extract the S-Pen . To this are also added its angled edges that give it a more pleasant appearance.

It is precisely in the S-Pen section where Samsung indicated that it made some of the improvements with respect to the previous generation because this step from having a latency of 9 milliseconds to only 2.8.

In the technical section, the Galaxy S22 Ultra incorporates an Exynos processor 2200 manufactured by Samsung itself, as well as an AMD RDNA GPU , which guarantees excellent power and performance when carrying out any activity, no matter how demanding.

The phone also has a 6.8 curved AMOLED panel inches that has a resolution of 3.080 x 1.440 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. Integrates HDR technology12+ and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The phone has different versions which vary according to the amount of RAM and storage they integrate. As far as Ram is concerned, there are two alternatives, one of 8GB and another of 12GB, while in storage there are four options, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Other features to highlight are its 5 battery, mAh with fast charge capability at 45W, wireless charging at 15W and reverse wireless charging. It has four rear cameras integrated with a main sensor of 108 megapixels that can record at up to 8K resolution and detect up to 10 people with autofocus.

According to what was reported by Samsung, the retail price of the equipment will be just over $1,300.
