A man beat his neighbor to death and burned down her house , all because of an argument about a fence.

Pavel Samsinak, aged 48, was sentenced on Friday for murdering her neighbor Alice Hale, aged 66, after a dispute over a fence that he was building between his house and a vacant lot in Springfield, Missouri.

According to court documents, after an argument over which side of the property line the fence was built on, Samsinak beat Hale to death with a baseball bat. baseball in September 2020.

Judge Becky Borthwick set a sentencing hearing for the 09 May, where Samsinak will also receive a sentence evaluation report from the Department of Probation and Parole.
