It was enough for Rayados 25 minutes to finish the match, since their path to victory opened from the 4th minute with an own goal by Zayed Sultan, which allowed those from northern Mexico to manage the match from the first moments and increase his advantage to the minute 11, through his scorer Rogelio Funes Mori, who received a cross from Maxi Meza with his chest and finished off at goal without the goalkeeper being able to prevent the goal. Finally, at 25′ César Montes headed in and sent the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-0.

The rest of the match, Monterrey withdrew and played on the counterattack. He had a couple of dangerous goal plays, but he didn’t get the fourth.

Al-Jazeera’s discount came in injury time, when Bruno finished off a precise cross and sealed the final score of 3-1.
