The FIFA concluded this Tuesday the first stage of ticket sales to attend the World Cup from Qatar 2022, and just a few hours ago it reported that more than 17 millions of requests from different parties of the world.
In a statement published on the website of the main world soccer body, the large number of requests for new tickets was announced, and a list of the 10 countries with the most requests.

The nations with more requests are Argentina, Qatar, Mexico, United States, United Arab Emirates, India, England, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and France. Among them accumulates the largest number of requests for tickets.
The tickets that have registered the most demand are those of the final, which will be held next December 17. On this subject, FIFA assured that the requests have exceeded the maximum capacity of the Lusail stadium, where the conclusion of the World Cup will be held.

In total there have been 1.8 million applications for the final, and the stadium has a capacity for a total of 80 one thousand attendees. In other words, the requests represent almost 23 times the number of fans that can enter the stadium.
It will not be until next March 8 when FIFA will respond to the requests, and thus the claimants will know if your request was accepted or rejected.
