Kentucky man is arrested for the death of his partner and endangering the lives of his children

The police of Mt. Vernon in Illinois arrested a subject named Richard Gray of 32 years, for an altercation he had with another person , but when the authorities arrived he wanted to escape and was arrested. The agents discovered that the man was fleeing with his children from Kentucky.

This event began when the Bardstown Police Department received an alert call to search an address where they found the lifeless body

of Tabitha Murray from 33 years old. Upon investigation, agents discovered that Richard Gray had fled with his four children, so they issued an Amber Alert highlighting the car’s license plates.

At the time of the altercation at the Mt Vernon gas station, the police discovered that was the man they wanted for murder and kidnapping in Kentucky. They saw that the four children were inside the vehicle, who were rescued without injury.

For their safety, the minors were placed in the hands of those responsible for the State Division of Services for Children and Families, in order to return them safely to their families.

Richard Gray faces charges of first degree murder with bail set at $500,000, in addition to the charges of resisting and obstructing arrest, illegal use and aggravated assault of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, criminal damage to property, and aggravated assault.

It is expected that in these days Gray will be transferred to Kentucky to face the condemnation of him.
