Close to 1,500 vacancies needs to be filled by the Amazon Fresh chain to staff six new grocery stores that will soon open in southern California.
The company launched a contracting campaign for the establishments that are contemplated in Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, Westlake Village, La Verne Moorpark and Murrieta
.
Each one of the jobs offers salaries between $16.40 and $18.40 dollars per hour, depending on the position and the shift, and the benefits that the workers will have start from the first day employment.

Amazon Fresh Representatives se refused to inform the date on which the six new stores will be inaugurated.
According to state data, Southern California generated about 40,000 sources of employment during December, but the figure still lags behind in 295,700 jobs that were previously registered to the coronavirus pandemic..
However, retail jobs are above pre-pandemic statistics, so employers struggling to find available staff.
In Southern California reported in December 744,744 retail workers, 6,295 more than in February 2020.
The new Amazon Fresh stores will use Just Walk Out technology , with which Amazon account holders can enter, scan a credit card linked to the account, choose the items they want and leave the store without having to go through the traditional checkout.
The stores are equipped with cameras, scales and scanners to monitor what customers remove from the shelves and put in their carts.
People who are not clients of Amazon will be able to use traditional checkouts to pay for items.
The first Amazon Fresh store opened in 2020 in Woodland Hills, and currently operates 10 establishments in southern California, in locations such as Cerritos, Fullerton, Irvine, Ladera Heights, La Habra, Long Beach, Northridge, North Hollywood, Whittier and Woodland Hills.
