One week before the celebration of Super Bowl LVI, the authorities of Los Angeles, as well as the entire organizing committee of the maximum sporting event, are fine-tuning all the details, which includes security for the attendees.
A week ago when the Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco at SoFi Stadium 49ers, there was a fight between two men in the vicinity of the stadium that will host the 13 February Super Bowl.
When the police went to the home , Cifuentes “voluntarily accompanied” them to the Inglewood Police Department, the mayor added, where he was subsequently arrested and booked.
Awaiting a more than expected accusation by the District Attorney, the alleged culprit paid a bail of $19,01 and was released on Friday.
At the time both the Rams and the 49ers rejected the fact violence and urged the authorities to resolve the situation.
“What happened to Daniel Luna is reprehensible and we strongly condemn all violence (…) we know that the local authorities they are conducting a full investigation and we are here to support them in any way we can,” the San Francisco franchise said in a statement.
Family of the fan in a coma demands justice
While the event is still being investigated, the family of Daniel Luna, owner of a Peruvian restaurant called Mistura on Piedmont Avenue, demands that justice be done and they have called out to the media.
Luna’s family’s key questions are: Why didn’t anyone ask for help after the drop?; and why did no one report having seen him on the ground?
Both in one and in the other question indicate that the alleged aggressor could have reported the fact and did not do it.
For now they are putting pressure to determine responsibilities, while Luna is in the hospital in a state of gravity without alterations.
