The list of video games that will see the light of day this year is extensive since several developers are finalizing details to launch the games with which they hope to conquer to the gamer community.
In this sense, February is a month that is marked on the calendar by video game fans since it is precisely from this date that a significant number of titles will be available on multiple platforms.
Here we tell you which games will go on sale in February:
one. The Waylanders
It is a third-person role-playing video game that places the player in Kaltia, a mythological kingdom inspired by Galicia and the Celtic mythology in which adventures mixed with some historical facts converge.
The Waylanders will not be a multiplatform game, so it will only be available for PC users as of February 2.
2. Dying Light 2
This new video game will be set in a new open world in which the main objective is to avoid being devoured by the hordes of zombies that are found throughout the map.
Among the innovations in this new installment, the fact that the Dying Light 2’s map is four times the size of the original game which provides more scope for story development.
The game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as for Nintendo Switch and PC from February 4.
3. Crossfire X
The latest installment in the Crossfire franchise, the popular first-person shooter video games, will offer the ability to play both a single player campaign mode which explores a worldwide conflict between two military factions, as well as a multiplayer mode.
Crossfire X will be released next February 17 and will only be available for consoles from Xbox (One and Series X/S).
4. Total War: Warhammer III
Lovers of strategy games will also be able to enjoy new titles in February thanks to the arrival of Total: Warhammer III which brings to an end his most successful trilogy to date.
This new installment will offer the possibility of participating in new massive battles in real time alongside epic characters, all set in the fantastic universe of Warhammer.
Total War: Warhammer III will be available for PC users from 17 February.
5. Horizon Forbidden West
The latest installment of the popular Sony exclusive saga will continue the story of Aloy discovering cities destroyed and stunning natural settings while facing new enemies and adventures.
As part of the story, players must travel to the city of California to find the origin of a virus that threatens to destroy what little of the human race has managed to survive.
Its arrival in video game stores is expected to occur on 18 February 2022.
6. Elden Ring
Created from a collaboration between writer George RR Martin (Game of Thrones) and Hideo Miyazaki (Souls) this action video game is set in an open world full of adventures, with a large dose of epic fantasy.
According to its developers, its duration is estimated to be close to 25 hours. However, due to the complex gameplay mechanics, the time needed to complete the story could extend its duration.
Elden Ring will hit the market on 25 in February and will be available for both PlayStation (4 and 5) and Xbox Series (X/S) and PC.
