“I looked out the door and that’s when I noticed the animal on the left side. And he was so scared and cold and shaking,” said Christina.

Despite doubts about his appearance, lured the animal into his basement and called Wildlife Works, an animal rescue center, to identify what type of animal it was exactly.

One of the managers of the animal rescue center, Morgan Barron, said that she could not say what animal it is.

“I can’t say definitively what it is but you have to be careful as they can carry rabies and since it could be a coyote we can keep it here, do genetic testing and go from there,” Morgan said.

Morgan says that even with her training she can’t say for sure.

“Regarding behavior, he is very shy, very scared and not at all aggressive, which makes I lean towards the dog“, he added.

At the moment, it is being you He has been treated for scabies and remains in isolation for now, but regardless of the results, Christina said she would do the exact same thing again. Genetic test results take two to four weeks to arrive.
