Kathry Moore is a teacher who taught in the Park City School District in Utah and finds herself in the middle of a controversy. After a year of informing the directors of the institution, that there was sexual harassment among the students
, they ignored the accusation and instead of taking the necessary measures, they replaced her with another teacher, which is why she is now suing.
In December of 2020, two of Moore’s students told him that one of the boys in the class touched them and looked at them inappropriately, which made them feel uncomfortable, detailed the CNN news program.
The teacher immediately went to the directors’ office to tell her about the facts and they suggested talking to the parents of those involved, as well as dividing the room between men and women.
Kathry Moore complied with the orders of his superior, although he did not agree with the suggestions, he declared in an interview for the television channel news last tuesday. One month after reporting sexual harassment, the teacher was replaced by another teacher.
Moore filed a lawsuit against the school, arguing wrongful termination. Among his statements, he pointed out that the directors of the institution did not investigate the complaints, did not protect the students who reported sexual harassment, and did not correct the behavior of the student in question. In addition to making claims that she never expressed.
Moore’s lawsuit is for lost profits from his dismissal from the year 2021, as well as lost wages during the time who has not worked.
