One of the steps that generated the greatest surprise was that of Neymar Jr. for Paris Saint-Germain. His signing for the club came after having achieved all the glory at FC Barcelona . However, in 2019 “Ney ” was very close to returning to the Blaugrana team for not feeling completely comfortable in the Parc des Princes.

“When I made the decision to leave PSG, it was not because of a fan or a club. It’s because I saw that I felt better elsewhere. I never had anything against the PSG fans, nor against the club itself. It was never that. On the contrary. I am very grateful”, revealed Neymar Jr. in one of his testimonials from his new series on Netflix, “The perfect chaos”.

In this sense, the status of the Brazilian star with Paris Saint-Germán was not entirely pleasant. Despite his clear wishes to leave the club, “Ney” did not lower his commitment to the French institution.

“Although I didn’t want to continue, I had to train and be prepared. Because if I play badly, everyone will blame me: if we lose, I am the first person responsible, I know the burden and the responsibility that I have“, he recalled.

Neymar Jr.’s father did not want him to leave PSG

“Ney” had between eyebrows his return to FC Barcelona. But his father was not very convinced of the idea. Despite this, both tried to finish the Brazilian’s internship at the club in a good way, but the French team did not open the doors to their expensive star.

“He wanted leave PSG to return to Barça. I didn’t want him to leave PSG, but who do I work for? We tried to leave PSG amicably but it didn’t work out

,” he explained.
