López Obrador congratulated David Ortiz for his inclusion in the Cooperstown Hall of Fame

The president of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador took his time to praise the Dominican baseball player David Ortiz after his recent induction into the Hall of Fame of Cooperstown.

Through the social network Twitter, the Mexican president congratulated the player for the achievement and classified him as a “horse” when referring to his career as a baseball player.

The message was accompanied by a photograph in which the president appears with his youngest son at the side of David Ortiz . The Mexicans wearing Boston Red Sox caps, a team with which the Dominican made history.

Ortiz was elected this Tuesday in his first opportunity for the hall of fame, with a 77.9% of the votes in his favor from the Baseball Writers Association of America.
