The Argentine Ángel Di María spoke about the current situation at PSG and about the connection that the players must have on the pitch to have a good performance and more in a team like the Parisian that counts with figures such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Mbappé, Icardi, Sergio Ramos, among others.

“It is difficult to be able to fit everyone and quickly form a perfect team. There are players with a lot of quality and new ones arrive every year. Even if you have the best in the world, it’s not easy when you don’t know each other or have the connection. Then things will go by themselves”, said the Argentine who has already been at PSG for several years.

Di María also spoke about the importance of having played with Messi before in the Argentina national team and knowing his style

game on the pitch and adapt to him now in his time with Paris.

“Having the connection with Leo beforehand is important. I know him and I know where he normally positions himself. He looks for the ball and wants the ball so he can score or catch it to do one on one. The movements of the other classmates make theirs different. Little by little he is going to feel better”, he said.

The champion of the Copa América also related the importance of having the previous experience of play in the team and how to help his Argentine teammates who are newcomers to the team to adapt to play well.

“When Paredes and Messi arrived, I tried to give them advice so that they could adapt as as fast as possible. Being able to help those who come and feel comfortable from the first day is very important”, he indicated.

“This year we started very strong, with the mentality of trying to win everything again”, concluded Di María, who will be one of the important players of the Parisian team when they face Real Madrid in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
