Lauren Boebert: Congresswoman Boebert Plays Bad Joke On Jewish Tourists

Lauren Boebert did a bad joke to Jewish visitors who were touring the Capitol.

According to sources from Buzzfeed News, Boebert, representative from Colorado asked the members if they were doing “recognition” after finding them in the elevator.

The members of the group went to a meeting by the 41th anniversary of the culmination of the hostage crisis in Iran with the representative of the 3rd District of New York, Tom Suozzi , when they ran into Laura Boebert.

The visitors wore kippahs and the coordinating member had a traditional beard, as marked by Jewish orthodoxy.

“When I heard that, I turned to the person next to me and asked did you hear that ?“, said the rabbi who was with the group.

Testimonies state that Boebert looked at people from head to toe and asked if they were doing “reconnaissance” of the area, alluding to military tactics prior to a mission.

Boebert and his multiple xenophobic comments

Lauren Boebert mentioned that it was all a joke after being accused of conducting a tour of the Capitol with people involved in the insurrection of January 6 .

“I saw a large group and made a joke,” Boebert mentioned. “I’m too short to see people’s yarmulkes.”

However, months ago, at a public event, Lauren Boebert made fun of Ilhan Omar and again “joked” with skin color and the origin of the congresswoman representing the state of Michigan.

“I was climbing the elevator with one of my staff members I see a capitol policeman running towards the elevator and I saw his desperation on his face trying to get to the elevator. I couldn’t open the door, it was closing I turned to the left side, and there it was, Ilhan Omar. And I said, well, at least he doesn’t have a backpack (hinting at a bombing), we’ll be fine.”
