The Mexican journalist and host Leonardo Schwebel, could not take it anymore and in full live broadcast, called the anti-vaccines “imbeciles” and said that at least “they Put the damn face mask on and stop screwing up the world.”
Surprisingly, Schwebel looked at the camera and yelled that , “Their freedom to be idiots for not wanting to be vaccinated does not give them the right to infect me.”
Thus, the Guadalajara news anchor , Mexico, occupied its information space to spread a strong and clear message against people who refuse to be immunized against COVID, also known as anti-vaccines.
In a matter of hours, his face and phrases were a trend in social networks. Some called the driver “crazy” and “paranoid”; while the vast majority sent messages of support to the presenter from Jalisco, supporting that the use of face masks is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID and any of its variants.
Before the commotion, Schwebel was interviewed by the same television channel and argued that he was pleased that his reaction had gone viral, “because the debate on the use of face masks at the national and even international level was opened.”
“Sometimes you have to shout”, assured the driver during the interview.
“If I had said it normal (…) believe me, I would not be here with you right now, then it is not a matter of scolding, it is a matter of seeing how we do it so that the world wakes up”, argued the journalist .
In addition, Schwebel commented that he has received “the same curses as blessings”, he even said that he has already been the victim of threats and that users of different social networks have made various negative comments “let me die, hopefully it will infect me” he said.
